I don't care if you play only one game or ten hundreds. I believe that everyone should be able to enjoy a video game in their free time.
Here is a list of games I like, I recommend for everyone, and games that I recommend for avid players.

Games I love
Kirby Series
I really like the entire Kirby series because it's a super competent platformer and in the same time expects you to relax and have a good time.
Monster Hunter 4U
I play MH since the first one, but this was my first one that I enjoy with friends and reached G rank. Gore Magala it's my father.
Rythm Heaven Series
Wario Ware, but rithm game. What else do you need?. It's a game full of charm, craziness, creativity and challenges.
Minecraft
The game that lives in my heart. I always like to construct in games, and this is the definitive one for me.
Neopets
My whole childhood was to come back from school and try to gain more Neopoints. This game teach me stock market too.
Phoenix Wright Series
My entry to my, much later, Visual Novel interest. A game with a story so beautifull that I, literally, don't sleep to finish it.
Games that (I think) everyone should try
Vulcano Princess
Be a good dad and take care of your child in this life sim. Watch your daughter grow as you guide her path in life.
Blind Drive
A game only played with the sound. You're blind folded and you are driving against traffic. Simple, short, but very interesting game.
Sayonara Wild Hearts
Nothing beats how someone sold it to me. "One of those short games you try, finish in just over an hour, and end up as a better person."
Kingdoms & Castles
A very relaxed kingdom management game, but one that keeps you building and protecting your city.
VA11 Hall-A
In the distopic future, be a bartender and get to know your customers. A story as relaxed as it is sincere, and one that stays with you.
Games I recommend for avid players
Rythm Doctor
I debated whether to recommend this game to everyone. It's a ritmic game where you play with only one boton, It seems simple, but its difficulty escalates very quickly.
TES: Oblivion
Have you played Skyrim? regardless of whether it is yes or no, for me, this is the same but with better immersion. Although it is more old.
Yakuza Zero
One of the best experiences of how to make you feel in a place. His city, Kamurocho, is full of life and things to do.
